GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION OF PAPER FOR AWARD

IAP NRC - RESPICON 2025 is proud to announce Award for original research paper in the field of Pediatric Pulmonology. Three selected award papers and Eighteen selected Free Papers will be presented in the main scientific halls and the remaining papers can be presented as E-posters. The award papers will be given First, Second, and a Consolation prize.

The Award category is as follows:

IAPNRC RESEARCH AWARD FOR YOUNG PEDIATRICIANS

Eligibility

  • Students and Pediatric residents (within 2 years of finishing their residency)

Eligibility

  • A structured ABSTRACT with the following subheadings
  • 1. Background
    2. Objectives
    3. Methods
    4. Results
    5. Conclusion

  • Word count of abstract should not exceed 300 words
  • Abstract should not contain any tables, graphs, images or illustrations
  • Four authors (Presenter+3 co-authors) are allowed per paper. Clearly identify the person who will present the paper (who will be the lead author and contact person by default) and the said person has to be a registered delegate at the Conference

Process of award paper presentation

  • The paper submitted for the Awards will be judged by a panel of judges nominated by RESPICON scientific committee.
  • The paper selected for Award will be presented at the conference and 7 minutes will be given to each presenter
  • The judges reserve the right to disallow the presentation of the award paper if any technical lapse in the concerned paper is brought to their notice at any time before presentation. The decision of the panel of judges will be final and binding on all concerned.
  • The research work on which the paper for award is presented must be the original and direct work undertaken by the main author (principal investigator). If at a later date it is detected that the work was not done by the person himself or herself, stringent action will be taken by the Executive Board which can include withdrawal of such an award with public intimation.

We also invite submission of Abstracts in following categories from young Pediatric Pulmonology researchers:

  • Free Paper Category
  • E- Poster category

This year we give you the opportunity to submit your scientific work under the following categories

  • Asthma and Allergy
  • Pediatric Sleep
  • Respiratory Intensive Care
  • Respiratory Infections and Tuberculosis
  • Epidemiology
  • Miscellaneous

GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

  • All abstracts submitted should be in English
  • Abstracts must be submitted online on www.respicon2025nagpur.com
  • Hard copies will not be accepted
  • Submission of more than one abstract by the same first author is permitted
  • Authors can submit their abstracts indicating their preference as e-poster or oral presentation, however the final decision will rest with the Abstract selection committee

Format

  • Abstracts are restricted to 300 words
  • Abstracts should not include any tables or graphs
  • References in the text have to be cited at the end of the abstract (they are excluded from the word count)
  • All content of the abstract is in the sole responsibility of the author(s) of the abstract

Process

  • You need to have registered for the conference to be able to submit an Abstract
  • The deadline for Submission of Abstracts is 31st August, 2025
  • Intimation on acceptance of Abstract will be issued on 10th, September, 2025
  • On approval, you will be invited to either present an Oral Presentation or an E-Poster
  • Oral presentation and Poster presentation guidelines will be intimated along with the approval email

  • 18 Best papers would be chosen for oral presentation in free paper category Remaining abstracts would be included as E- Posters
  • The time allocated for each Oral Paper presentation will be 6 minutes.
  • Title Font size >12
  • Author’s Font size 11, presenting Author’s name first.
  • Font style: Arial, Calibri, Verdana, Times New Roman, or Helvetica

GUIDELINES FOR E-POSTER PRESENTATION

  • The time allocated for each E-Poster presentation will be 8 minutes. There will be 2 additional minutes for questions and discussions.
  • Title Font size > 12
  • Author’s Font size 11, presenting Author’s name first.
  • Font style: Arial, Calibri, Verdana, Times New Roman, or Helvetica
  • Text to be typewritten in black ink using font size 10, single space, number of words not to exceed 250.
  • Abstract title - limited to 20 words in UPPER CASE
  • The E-poster will be displayed on a standard 42" LCD.
  • File format should be PowerPoint (.PPT/.PPTX)
  • Total size of the presentation should not exceed 5 MB.
  • Only 1 slide per poster.
  • Animation/movies/sounds will not be supported; please submit in a static required template format only
  • Images and tables: at least 200 dpi. Good picture quality is essential.
  • When saving your PPT please do not use symbols or special characters (i.e. +/@/ü) in the file name
